制限事項
レイヤ 1 の動作をエミュレーションしない
リンクダウンは伝搬せず、冗長試験では対向側でも手動でダウンさせる必要があります。
Community Edition は上記の動作ですが、Pro 版はダウンが伝搬するらしいです。
- Hot links, interconnection running nodes, ports immediately response, shut no shut, Ethernet only
冗長試験は断時間の厳密な測定ができないです。
ASIC の機能は基本的に信用できない
ソフトウェア上で動作する機能はほぼ実機と同じ動作をしますが、ハードウェアである ASIC で実現されている機能は、まともに動かないと考えたほうが良いです。

Catalyst 9000V は例外で ASIC をソフトウェア エミュレーションしており、基本的にハードウェアと同じ動作をするとのこと。

HSRP で冗長が組めない
以下の設定で動作します。
- HSRP Multicast を通すスイッチで no ip igmp snooping を入れる
HSRP Not Working to get HSRP packets to work I have had to disable IGMP snooping ie. "no ip igmp snooping" on the switches.
HSRP で ping が欠ける
- HSRP を設定する L3 インターフェースで standby use-bia を入れる
